Macro Shootout

"Mega Macro Session,6/6/10 Sihagad Valley" was organized by P@P member Anvay. Sinhagad Valley was finalized. It's at the base of Sinhagad, just after hotels when we start climbing, take left instead of right. The road will take you towards forest. You will find various birds as well as bird watchers over here.

There are various ways to do macro photography, as per my knowledge following are the ways:
- Using a macro lens (too expensive for me :D )
- Reverse Lens: Its a technique in which you attach your lens to camera in reverse manner. That means lens connector facing outwards. Here is Tutorial.
- Extension Tube: Attach a hollow tube between camera and lens.
- Raynox: Its a different kind of lens which is attached to existing lens. Here is information

As a beginner I was very interested in attending the session. But did not had a macro lens or any other stuff for macro photography.

Here is the link to reversal ring. I was planning to get a Raynox kit, but currently will practice on reverse ring then check on Raynox :D. If Finance minister likes macro photos, there are chances that I can purchase Raynox kit ;D.

Here are some of the photos from the session:
